Who am I?
My name is Martynas and I’m a web developer who enjoys creating clean and modern websites that feel as smooth applications. I enjoy project that are not only visually appealing, but also technically demanding. I love everything related to logic and even design, I approach through analyzing challanges and desired result.
Beyond Online
There’s more to me than code, pixels, and problem-solving. Outside the professional bubble, I follow a few interests that shape how I think and create. If you’re curious about what I’m into when I’m not building things, feel free to read on.
Robotics
In my free time, I’m learning C and C++ so I could build more hands-on hobby projects instead of just watching videos about them. It’s a slow dive into microcontrollers, sensors, and all the little details that make a robot come alive. My brand name and all the gears are no accident - I just enjoy understanding how engineering works and experimenting with ideas that don’t live solely on a screen. I’ve always been drawn to how things move. Motion control, in particular, feels like a blend of logic and creativity — getting hardware to respond smoothly, react on time, and do something meaningful in the real world.
History
I’ve got a soft spot for the medieval world - the castles, the culture, the way people built entire lives around ideas we barely think about today. There’s something grounding about looking back that far. I like the belief that the past explains why we behave the way that we do. As for my favorite castle, it's Trakai castle on the island in Lithuania.
Travel
Since I’ve always been fascinated by history, I love traveling to new places to discover new spots and hidden gems. Every trip is an opportunity to explore ancient streets, historic landmarks, and just to see how people live. Travelling for me is not only great way to rest, but also a method to refreshen up my creative thinking and new ideas.
Chess
I learned to play chess when I was five, and I’ve been drawn to the game ever since. I usually lean toward aggressive play, make the game entertaining is always a priority.
